Corval was the general contractor hired by Hutchinson Utilities Commission for the installation of Unit 5, a Wärtsilä 20 V34SG gas-fueled engine of a nominal 9.4 MWe. We installed the generator set, complete with all structural, mechanical, electrical, and emissions control systems, as well as equipment, necessary controls, and auxiliary operating systems. The scope of work included civil, concrete, structural steel, equipment setting, brick and masonry, and HVAC. Corval self-performed the equipment setting, piping, structural steel, and HVAC.
