Self Performing general contractor for the school mechanical systems upgrade project. Corval Group self performed over 65% of the overall project labor utilizing six different core Corval trades, as well as managing 17 different subcontractors to bring the project in on schedule. The project included demolishing the existing heating system and replacing it with a high-efficiency Boiler system, as well as a new Chiller system to provide the school with cooling for the first time. Plumbing system upgrades were also performed including bathroom group and classroom sink remodels. The majority of the project needed to be completed in a 55 work day time frame between June and August, which proved to be a challenging task. Corval utilized previous work experience in the school sector to develop a successful construction plan and completed all required activities on time.
