Corval Group begins construction at Buddy’s Kitchen

St. Paul, MN – Corval Group has begun construction on a design/build project for Buddy’s Kitchen in Lakeville MN, that will facilitate their future growth with 42,000 additional square footage of freezer space. Designed in cooperation with Corval’s engineering team and VAA engineering, planning, and design services, the project includes, but is not limited to ammonia refrigeration upgrades, 4,500 additional pallet spaces, and new distribution docks.

“Corval is very excited to be breaking ground on this Cold Storage Warehouse and Distribution center for Buddy’s Kitchen.  We have worked closely with Buddy’s Kitchen and our engineering partner VAA to develop a workable design that will enable our clients to use the facility to grow their business.  From the front end study to the groundbreaking, all parties have been working towards a common goal.” – Bob Weir, VP of Engineering

Buddy’s Kitchen is a specialty food business that manufactures sandwiches, burritos, omelets, frittatas, complete meals, and many other food products from two facilities in Burnsville and Lakeville Minnesota that are sold in grocery stores, coffeehouse chains, convenience stores and served on domestic and international airlines.

Construction is underway and is expected to be completed next spring.
