Essar-Mesabi Metallics – Concentrator Building Piping

Corval was the Prime Contractor for the fabrication and installation of 76” diameter pipe header. The structural steel building at this Essar-Mesabi Metallics site was previously installed, which caused additional challenges when installing the pipe. We successfully transported and installed this header 80’ inside the concentrator, using specialized rigging and tuggers/roller to pull the 76” piping into its final position. The fabrication for this project was partially done by others over five years prior, and much of Corval’s fabrication for this project was performed on-site.
