Corval was the prime contractor for CertainTeed’s new asphalt unloading and processing expansion. The purpose of the project was to install mechanical systems to allow for asphalt to be unloaded from rail cars or trucks, processed and stored at the existing facility. The scope of work included installation of piping, pumps, specialties, and structural steel. Also included were several critical lifts for tanks and equipment. Shop fabrication capabilities were utilized to perform over half of the required welds offsite in Corval fabrication facilities.
