SOUTH SYSTEMS FLEXIBILITY STATION 79 REVERSAL PROJECT for Tennessee Gas Pipeline consisted of fabrication and installation of new 42″ suction and discharge lines, 36″ discharge headers, 42″ cooler headers, and 10″ silencers lines to allow for the compressor station to send
gas in either direction down the pipeline. The project included the excavation and backfill for these lines. Corval’s scope included the installation of six gas coolers and two silencers including the associated foundations. Corval was also responsible for modifying eight of the existing launchers and receivers and installation of the electrical and instrumentation for the station.
