Corval was the Mechanical Design-Builder for a new chiller plant (“Plant C”) to increase cooling capacity for TimeShare Systems’ telecommunications/data center facility. We added approximately 2,000 tons of cooling via three (3) chillers at around 675 tons each, 3 cooling towers, and a free-cooling heat exchanger.
Corval developed a thorough installation plan that took into account required site clearances and equipment necessary to utilize only the space available. Chillers were maneuvered from delivery trucks into building openings without disrupting traffic flow around building.
Utilizing service expertise and personnel, Corval oversaw the integration of new controls into existing system to ensure there were no interruptions to normal service during transition.
